You don’t need more advice; you need a way to move through the world as a team that actually understands how each other’s brains work.
When a relationship or a family system is under chronic stress, traditional 50-minute weekly therapy often moves too slowly to create actual safety.
By the time you pack up, drive to an office, sit down, and recap the arguments of the past seven days, your session is over. You leave feeling raw and exposed, only to return to the exact same environment without a real resolution. This cycle doesn’t heal; it simply keeps systems stuck in a loop of crisis management.
We do things differently. We are an intensive-only practice.
Our counseling for marriage intensive service is an advanced, high-impact container designed for neurodiverse couples, adult families, and parents with teens who are ready to skip the weekly maintenance and go straight to root-cause resolution. We condense months of traditional therapeutic growth into a focused, consecutive-day intensive format.

The Three-Phase Reconstruction Framework
Instead of dragging your healing out over half a year of disconnected weekly appointments, our signature bundle structures your transformation into three clear, intentional phases:
Phase 1: Relational Architecture Mapping
Before we ever step into the intensive room, we map the systemic blueprint. We conduct a deep-dive systemic intake to look at the complete picture of your relationship or family. We track historical trauma triggers, identify nervous system stress responses, and unpack how unique neurotypes (including ADHD, autism, PDA profiles, or alexithymia) are interacting within your home.
Phase 2: The Intensive
With the structural blueprint in hand, we step into a dedicated, consecutive-hour intensive container spanning 1 to 3 days. Uninterrupted by the ticking of a 50-minute clock, we have the space required to safely access deep-seated patterns. Together, we de-escalate chronic conflict, repair profound communication ruptures, somaticize safety in the nervous system, and actively practice new ways of relating in real time.
Phase 3: The Integration Blueprint
The intensive doesn’t end when you walk out our door. You leave with a physical, completely customized Integration Blueprint—a sustainable owner’s manual for your relationship. This guide outlines your shared communication tools, somatic containment exercises, and boundary structures, followed by targeted integration check-ins to anchor your shifts permanently into daily life.
Tailored for Complex Relational Systems
Because relational trauma and neurodivergence impact every dynamic differently, this bundle is customized directly to the unique system you bring to the table:
- For Neurodiverse & Trauma-Impacted Couples: Stop fighting against each other’s neurological wiring. We dismantle chronic marital gridlock, move past defensive masking, and build a shared, neuroaffirming relationship language that honors both partners’ nervous systems.
- For Families with Teens: Move from a household walking on eggshells to systemic alignment. We spend concentrated time uncovering the underlying patterns driving conflict, helping parents and teens repair deep ruptures, and establishing healthy boundaries that respect your teen’s autonomy.
- For Adult Families: Unpack complex intergenerational trauma patterns, heal historic family tears, and establish functional, modern boundaries that allow you to show up authentically as adult individuals.
Cost & Payment
The total investment for the Relational Reconstruction Intensive is $2,500. This includes:
- 8 hours of intensive format sessions split over two weeks
- Your customized Integration Blueprint
- A 1-month check in session after completion of the intensive
- An out-of-network superbill upon request
We accept credit cards, debit cards, HSA (Health Savings Accounts), and FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts). Payment plans are available upon request.

What is the “Double Empathy Problem” in neurodiverse relationships?
The Double Empathy Problem suggests that communication breakdowns occur not because one partner is “broken,” but because two people with different neurological styles process social cues differently. In our sessions, we stop trying to make one partner act “more neurotypical” and instead focus on cross-neurological translation, helping both partners feel understood in their own “native language.”
How do you handle “Sensory Mismatch” and household executive function?
Many arguments in neurodiverse couples are actually about sensory overwhelm or executive function gaps (like chores, scheduling, or money). We move beyond “who didn’t do the dishes” and look at the underlying nervous system needs. We help you design a “User Manual” for your home life that accounts for sensory sensitivities and brain-based organizational styles.
Do we need a formal ADHD or autism diagnosis to start couples therapy?
No. Many couples find our neuro-affirming approach helpful even if they are only “self-identified” or suspect neurodivergence is a factor. If you’re struggling with “walking on eggshells” or a cycle of “quiet confusion” and resentment, the tools we use for neurodiverse communication will likely provide relief regardless of a formal label.
How is neuro-affirming couples therapy different from traditional marriage counseling?
Traditional counseling often focuses on “standard” communication skills like eye contact or “I” statements, which can actually be stressful for neurodivergent brains. Neuro-affirming therapy recognizes that there is no “correct” way to process the world. We focus on practical, brain-based strategies that respect both partners’ neuro-types rather than forcing compliance to neurotypical norms.
What if one partner is neurodivergent and the other is neurotypical?
This is often called a “Mixed-Neurological” or “Neuro-Mixed” couple. We focus on shifting the dynamic away from the “Parent-Child” trap—where one partner feels like a manager and the other feels like a project. We work to restore equity and intimacy by validating both partners’ distinct experiences and needs.
Can couples counseling help with “Autistic Burnout” or ADHD overwhelm?
Yes. When one partner is in burnout, the relationship often suffers. We use our sessions to identify the environmental and relational stressors contributing to the overwhelm. We work together to create a “low-demand” season for the relationship, allowing the burned-out partner to recover while ensuring the other partner feels supported and seen.
Do you offer virtual couples therapy for residents across Texas?
Yes. We provide HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions for couples throughout the state of Texas (including Austin, Houston, and San Antonio), as well as in-person sessions for those in the Carrollton, Plano, and North Dallas area. Virtual sessions can be particularly helpful for neurodivergent partners who prefer the sensory safety of their own home.
